Isabel M. Hidrobo

Isabel M. Hidrobo has over 20 years of experience in the field of immigration law. As an expert in the field, she has successfully managed her own practice since 2008. She advises clients ranging from multinational corporations to small start-ups and individuals in connection with the temporary and permanent employment of foreign nationals in the fields of fashion, arts, and entertainment. Her clients include celebrities as well as numerous top ranked talent management companies in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Her practice focus includes:

The representation of multinational and domestic corporations, their employees and private individuals in business immigration matters before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the U.S. Department of Labor, and at U.S. Consulates;
Assisting individuals of extraordinary ability in obtaining immigration benefits;

Isabel received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where she majored in Economics and Comparative Area Studies. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC.

She is fluent in Spanish, and proficient in French and Portuguese.

Isabel is admitted to practice in New York and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Emma Roberts

Emma is the Managing Attorney for the firm with over 14 years of experience in the field of immigration. She specializes in the areas of business immigration, advising corporations and individuals on a wide range of nonimmigrant and immigrant categories. Emma has worked collaboratively with many of the top ranked entertainment agencies across the United States, Europe, Canada and Australia, as well as with Fortune 500 companies in the United States. Emma graduated from Northumbria University, England with First Class Honors and was called to the bar of England and Wales in 2009. She is admitted to practice in New York State. She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in International Business from St. Mary’s University, Twickenham/Mountbatten Program.

Twana Kennedy

Senior Paralegal Twana Kennedy has 10 years of experience in immigration law that spans across a variety of visa categories. She brings a unique level of experience to The Law Office of Isabel Hidrobo having spent several years working at a leading global modeling agency. Twana received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University.

Jonathan Chin

Paralegal Jonathan Chin has worked in the immigration law field since 2017, with past work involving a variety of visa categories in both non-immigrant and immigrant petitions. Over the years, Jonathan has accumulated skills in other applications, including naturalization, marriage- based Green Card applications, visa applications for skilled workers, extraordinary individuals, lottery selectees, and more. He has worked with a variety of clientele ranging from hospitals/research groups, museum organizations, software companies, and modeling agencies, to name a few. Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts in Applied Legal Studies from Suffolk University.

Daniela Del Angel

Daniela Del Angel received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale University and earned a Certificate of Advanced Language Study in Spanish. During her time at Yale, Daniela gained experience conducting country-conditions research for pro bono asylum applications, translating legal documents, preparing detailed memoranda, conducting witness interviews, and supporting case development through roles with organizations including The Advocates for Human Rights, The Bronx Defenders, and the Travis County Public Defender’s Office. Through this work, she developed strong skills in evidence gathering, factual analysis, and legal writing. Daniela is fluent in English and Spanish and assists attorneys in preparing O-1 petitions for individuals seeking to work and build their careers in the United States.

Jonathan Yankelowitz

Jonathan Yankelowitz is a Junior Associate Attorney with over six years of experience in immigration law. He focuses on corporate immigration and advises both companies and individuals on complex employment-based visa and green card matters. Jonathan is dedicated to finding creative, practical solutions for clients competing to retain global talent in the United States. He has successfully assisted clients across a wide range of industries – including finance, healthcare, sports, and design – with a particular emphasis on the fashion and arts sectors.

Jonathan earned his LL.B. from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, as well as an LL.M. in Fashion Law from Fordham University in New York. He also holds a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in International Relations, from the University of Cape Town. Jonathan is admitted to practice in New York State and is proficient in Portuguese and French.

Arianna Maestre Z.

Arianna Maestre Z. is the Executive Assistant at the firm, where she provides operational and administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the office. Her work focuses on managing billing processes, coordinating client communications, and maintaining organized document systems to support accuracy and workflow across the firm.

She holds a law degree from Ecuador and a Paralegal Certificate from Long Island University, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Organizational Management and Leadership. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is able to communicate effectively with clients in both languages, and is also proficient in French.
